Earn points towards your APICS certification maintenance

You've worked hard to earn your certification, don't let it expire. You have one year left to earn the professional development points required to maintain your credential—75 towards your certification or 100 points towards your Fellow certification.

If you haven't earned enough points to maintain your certification, choose from the list of qualifying activities to earn your remaining points. We've listed a few suggestions below:

  • Read Relevant Books or articles. Earn five points per book, (200 page minimum), 1/2 point per article.
  • APICS MembershipAPICS members receive six maintenance points per year.
  • Webinars and Seminars. Gain insight into key areas of supply chain operations while earning development points.
  • Become an APICS Mentor. Help foster professional growth and development for supply chain professionals by enrolling in the new Mentorship program.

Follow the instructions below to submit your application. Once you submit the form, you will be notified of your updated certification status.
Submit Your Maintenance Application

  • Log in to your My APICS account
  • Access the online maintenance application
  • Choose the designation you need to maintain
  • Fill in the number of points you have earned tin each category
  • pay the fee and submit the application


After you've completed your activities, document each activity and keep them where they can be easily accessed when you're ready to complete your maintenance application.

Treasurer Needed

Our Chapter needs a Treasurer! APICS Edmonton is looking for a Treasurer for our chapter. This is a volunteer position and only requires 2-3 hours a month, but is a vital part of keeping our Chapter running.

The board meets once a month from September to June, taking the summer months off, and it is the Treasurer's responsibility to report to the Board each month, the state of the Chapter's finances.

Other duties include...

  • Being responsible for all of the Chapter's financial activities.
  • Ensuring bills and vendors are paid in a timely manner.
  • Provide monthly statements of the financial condition of the Chapter.
  • Issues all cheques authorized by the Board on the Chapter's financial accounts.
  • Arranges for a yearly review of the financials.
  • Performs other duties as directed by the President

APICS Certification Maintenance, Simplified!

You've asked—we've listened! Certification maintenance will be updated January 4, 2018 with a streamlined point structure and new point activities. Now it'll be easier for you to earn the points you need to maintain your credential.

The new point activities include: 

  • Reading relevant books or articles
  • Participating in relevant project management work for your employer
  • Participating in the APICS mentorship program

And to make it even easier, if you've completed activities that fall within the updated point structure, and are ready to submit your application now, you can include them in your submission.
